Welcome to our newsletter! My name is Bri and I’ll be doing most of the talking here on Our Vinyl Collection. In December 2020, Alex and I got our very first record player, now our most prized possession. Not only is the sound of a vinyl record one to cherish, our collection has helped us learn so much more about the music we love.

It took a few short weeks for our collection to grow to over one hundred records, which was both exciting and concerning. While we admire and appreciate their place in our home, as a writer I decided to strengthen my connection to the music by coming here once a week to chat with you about one record from our collection.

The purpose of this newsletter is to celebrate the music we’ve collected and create a cool place to come talk about music with other enthusiasts. I hope to keep this casual so if you don’t have time to sit down and read an essay but are craving a little spice in your email every week - this is the newsletter for you.
